Dhaka: The Indian government has appointed former Biman Bangladesh CFO Vineet Sood as Alliance Air (AA) CEO. Sood will take over the duty from July 31, 2021, for a period of three years.

According to reports, Sood did B Com (Hons) from Delhi’s Shri Ram College of Commerce and went on to become a CA.

He joined Nigerian carrier Dana Airlines in Lagos as Head of Finance and Accounts in September 2008. Afterward, he rose to the position of CFO there till May 2015. Months later, Sood joined Biman Bangladesh as CFO.
