New Board of CCCI takes charge
CCCI secretariate welcoming the new board with floral greetings

Dhaka: The newly elected Board of Directors of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry for 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 tenures took charge through a ceremony held at Bangabandhu Conference Hall of World Trade Centre on June 30. They are to lead the board from July 1 for two years.

The chamber’s 5th time elected President Mahbubul Alam presided over the ceremony while Vice President Syed Md Tanvir, and Board Directors AKM Aktar Hossain, Md Ohid Siraj Chowdhury, Jahirul Islam Chowdhury, Anjan Shekhar Das, Md Omor Faruq, Hasnat Md Abu Obaida, Sakif Ahmed Salam, Iftekhar Hossain, Md Iftekhar Faysal, SM Tahsin Jonayed, Md Adnanul Islam, Tanvir Mostofa Chowdhury and Md Nasirul Alam were present on the occasion.

Former Director Md M Mahiuddin Chowdhury also attended the ceremony.

The unity and dedication among the members of this chamber will strengthen its activities to help build a prosperous Bangladesh, said the newly elected President in his speech while he took over.

He wished for all the members’ support in the chamber’s efforts to help the next generation grow and lead the country’s business expansion further.

With the help of the new board, Mahbubul Alam wished to work towards – developing trade in Chattogram, playing a significant role in solving national economic issues, and representing Bangladesh in the global economy.
