Dhaka: Qatar Airways announced it has increased its scheduled passenger flight frequency to double daily on Doha-Dhaka-Doha route in order to meet a growing number of passengers.
Passengers traveling to and from Dhaka can enjoy more flexible connections to key destinations in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, and the US via Hamad International Airport, the airline said in a release.
"We are delighted to be increasing flights to Bangladesh and this double daily service to Dhaka will help reunite many passengers who have been unable to return home due to global travel restrictions," Karthik Viswanathan, Regional Manager, Indian Subcontinent, Qatar Airways, said in the release.
"At Qatar Airways, we continue to reinforce our commitment to getting our passengers safely to where they need to be. We understand the need for citizens and residents of Bangladesh to be able to connect seamlessly to key destinations in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, and the US," he added.
The airline will use Boeing 777 offering 42 seats in business class and 354 seats in economy class to operate flights to Dhaka.
Qatar Airlines, multiple award-winning airlines including 'World's Best Airline' resumed its operation from Dhaka on June 16 with weekly three flights. The number of flights was increased later gradually.
