Biman starts flights to Rajshahi from May 16 

The flag carrier has cancelled operations to Medina, Kuwait, Bangkok, Manchester

Dhaka : Biman Bangladesh Airlines has started operating regular flights on Dhaka-Rajshahi-Dhaka route. 
One flight of the airlines operates on the route everyday from May 16, according to a notice issued in this regard.
Passengers can visit Biman sales office or its official website www.biman-airlines.com for further details.
On the other hand, the flag carrier Biman has cancelled its flights to Medina, Kuwait and Bangkok till May 31 and flights to Manchester till June 30.
In addition, Biman will not operate flights to Kolkata, Delhi, Muscat, Kathmandu and UAE until further notice, a source at Biman Bangladesh Airlines said.
According to reports, a senior official of Biman Bangladesh Airlines said Biman was forced to cancel its flight on those routes on various grounds including travel restrictions from different countries.
Biman is now operating flights to only four destinations -- London (one weekly flight), Doha (four flights), Singapore (one flight)                   and Kuala Lumpur (two flights).
In the domestic network, the airline flies to all destinations but Cox's Bazar. 
Before the Covid-19, Biman used to operate flights to 18 international destinations.
Operation of regular international flights to and from Dhaka resumed on May 1 after 17 days' of recess.
