MTB partners with DHL to advance net zero commitment

Dhaka : Mutual Trust Bank PLC has taken a stride towards sustainability by partnering with DHL Express through the GoGreen Plus-Carbon Reduced service. This collaboration underscores MTB's commitment to environmental stewardship and reinforces its efforts to reduce its carbon footprint.

The agreement was officially signed by MTB's Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman, and DHL's Managing Director Md Miarul Haque.

The signing ceremony was attended by MTB's Additional Managing Directors, Deputy Managing Directors, Head of Sustainability, and members of the Sustainable Finance and Communication department.

On behalf of DHL, the event was attended by the Head of Commercial, Head of GMNC, and National Customer Manager.

Through this partnership, MTB will mitigate its carbon footprint by utilizing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), reinforcing its commitment to achieving net zero emissions.

As one of the early adopters of this initiative, MTB continues to pursue sustainable banking through innovative solutions to drive environmental impact.
