Dhaka: The vibrant tapestry of Malaysian culture unfolds at the Institute of Modern Languages (IML), University of Dhaka, through an event titled "Malaysia Cultural Exhibition 2025, running from June 17 to 18, 2025.
Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan PhD, Vice Chancellor, University of Dhaka attended the inauguration ceremony on June 17 as the chief guest, while Mohd Shuhada Othman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Bangladesh, was present as the guest of honor.
The two-day event promises an immersive experience into the heart of Malaysia's diverse heritage. The exhibition is a testament to the strong collaborative ties between the High Commission of Malaysia in Dhaka and the Center for Global Studies (CGS) at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
The partnership, which saw the establishment of a dedicated Malay Studies Center at the IML in 2023, continues to foster academic and cultural exchange between the two nations.
