Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq
Dhaka: Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq has been appointed the new Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), according to a notice issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on July 2.
He has replaced Air Vice Marshal Monjur Kabir Bhuiyan, who was transferred from the post on June 26.
CAAB, under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, is responsible for regulating and overseeing all civil aviation activities of the country, including airport operations, air traffic control, aviation safety, and security.
