Dhaka: Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Ramis Sen paid a courtesy call on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Afroza Khanam at her office in the Bangladesh Secretariat on May 3.
State Minister M. Rashiduzzaman Millat was also present at the meeting.
Discussions centered on strengthening bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Turkey, with a particular focus on Turkish cooperation in developing Bangladesh's tourism sector.
Ambassador Sen expressed interest in Turkish ground handling company Celebi Aviation Holding taking over ground handling operations at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
The Minister and State Minister Millat expressed their determination to work closely with Turkey during the meeting.
