Dhaka: A Turkish Airlines’ flight made an emergency landing at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on May 20, once the pilot noticed fire in one of the plane’s engines.
The flight, carrying 290 passengers, departed Dhaka Airport for Istanbul at 7:00 am on May 20.
However, within 15 minutes, the flight’s pilot noticed sparks in one of the aircraft’s engines and decided to come back to Dhaka Airport land immediately.
Then, the flight circled in the sky for about an hour and a half, and made an emergency landing in Dhaka at 8:15 am.
