Dhaka: Biman Bangladesh Airlines will be launching direct flights to UAE’s Sharjah from January 25, announced the airline on January 20.
Initially, the national flag carrier will operate four flights a week to the popular destination in the UAE, Biman said in a press release.
Tickets for the flight are available now, the release added.
The airline’s flight BG51 will depart Dhaka Airport every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Monday at 10:30 pm (local time) and will reach Sharjah at 2:15 pm (local time).
Biman’s return flight BG 152 will leave Sharjah every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 4:00 am and will land in Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram at 10:45 am (local time).
Then, from Chattogram airport, the flight will depart at 11:45 am and will arrive in Dhaka Airport at 12:30 pm.
Passengers can purchase tickets from any Biman sales office, sales centre (24/7) at Balaka Headquarters, Biman call centre (01990997997) and from any authorised travel agency.
Passengers must be present at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at least eight hours before their scheduled departure time to complete all activities in line with the travel advisory.
