Dhaka: Cathay Pacific is adding another flight on its Dhaka–Hong Kong route, offering passengers more opportunities to travel. The airline will operate one additional flight a week on Tuesdays from September 5, 2023, said Cathay in a release.

On Tuesday, Cathay’s flight will depart Hong Kong at 22:55 and arrive in Dhaka at 01:00 (local time) while the return flight from Dhaka will fly on Wednesday at 02:10 and land in Hong Kong at 08:05.

The increase of frequency will provide passengers with direct access to Hong Kong in addition to seamless connections to onward destinations in the United States, Chinese Mainland, Canada, Australia, Japan and South Korea.

On the occasion, Ahmed Reza, Country Manager–Bangladesh and Bhutan, Cathay Pacific, said, “The enhanced schedule will provide our customers more options to travel and further boost connectivity with Hong Kong and onward destinations. Cathay currently covers over 70 destinations around the world, catering to business travellers and students while leisure trips gradually increase.”

Customers flying from Dhaka can now experience comfort on Cathay Pacific’s Airbus A330 aircraft, providing travellers with an unsurpassed cabin environment on its Dhaka–Hong Kong route.

The award-winning Business Class seats – ie the fully flat bed – will ensure passengers are comfortable. The Economy class, comes equipped with state-of-theart inflight entertainment, and offers four times more content than before.
