Flynas connects Jeddah to two more central Asian capital cities

Dhaka: In line with a partnership agreement with the Air Connectivity Programme established in April 2023, Saudi low-cost carrier flynas recently announced the launch of new routes connecting Jeddah with two new Central Asian destinations.

The airline will also increase the frequency of high-demand flight services, further strengthening ties between Central Asia and Saudi Arabia.

From August 20, flynas will commence non-stop flight services from Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport to Osh International Airport and offer a thrice-weekly frequency every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

The budget carrier will deploy the Airbus A320 for the nearly five-hour flight journey.

Then subsequently, on September 2, flynas will launch non-stop flight services from Jeddah to Bishkek Manas International Airport and offer a similar thrice-weekly frequency every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. An Airbus A320 is also expected to be deployed for this new route.

Besides the new routes, the connectivity between Central Asia and Saudia Arabia will be greater strengthened when on August 20, passengers from Tashkent can benefit from enhanced options after flynas increase its offering with an upgrade to three weekly flights non-stop from Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport to Jeddah.

The increased frequency will build significantly on the success of the route's initial launch on September 14th last year. And later, on September 2, flynas will introduce two weekly flight services between Jeddah and Almaty International Airport, although the flight schedules for this route are not yet available at the moment.

With the inclusion of the new routes, flynas will operate an extensive network that spans over 70 domestic and international destinations, with a frequency of more than 1,500 weekly flights. And the focus on growth does not stop here, as the leading Saudi low-cost carrier is eyeing more new routes with the help of the Air Connectivity Programme and its expertise in developing robust air routes.

While it is only probable that more new routes are expected by the end of this year, what is certain is that new destinations will be added for next summer as flynas plans to bring the total summer destinations to 20 by June 2024 and by 2030, the budget carrier plans to operate to at least 165 domestic and international destinations.
