Dhaka: Country’s largest private carrier US-Bangla Airlines has announced to increase the number of flight frequencies on Dhaka-Chennai and Dhaka-Male routes following high demand of passengers.
From March 13, the carrier will operate seven weekly flights on Dhaka-Chennai-Dhaka route, instead of five; and on Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route, the airline will operate four weekly flights instead of three, US-Bangla said in a press release.
US-Bangla Airlines currently operates Boeing 737-800 on Chennai and Male routes. Its fleet currently has a total of 16 aircraft, including six Boeing 737-800 and seven ATR 72-600.
In addition to Chennai and Male, US-Bangla currently operates international flights to Kolkata, Sharjah, Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Guangzhou.
The airline is also planning to operate flights to Colombo, Delhi, Abu Dhabi, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Medina in the near future.
