NOVOAIR sponsors national judo competition

Dhaka: The two-day 38th national judo competition, sponsored by the leading private sector airline NOVOAIR begins toaday at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in the city today.

Mofizur Rahman, managing director of the airline inaugurated the competition as the Chief Guest.Bangladesh Judo Federation president Fayzur Rahman,general secretary Kamrun Nahar Hiru were present among others at the inaugural ceremony.

310 judokas from different districts of Bangladesh as well the Army, BGB, Police, Ansar, BKSP, Dhaka University, and Jagannath University are competing in 31 teams.

The competition is being held in 7 weight categories for men and 7 for women.
