Acceptance tests of Operator Control Panels for normal operation equipment and electrical equipment, as well as operator control software and hardware package for safety systems (safety panel) for Rooppur Unit 1 of Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, have been completed. A company of Rosatom State Corporation NIIIS named after Y. Sedakov has conducted the job.

The tests confirmed that elements of the supplied operator panels are compliant with the requirements of the acceptance test program and procedure. The representatives of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission also witnessed the corresponding checkpoint of the quality plan.

The tests were witnessed by the committee including representatives of the branch concerned organizations including VO Safety, an authorized organization of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission; ASE, the general contractor of the Rooppur NPP construction; and Atomenergoproekt, Rooppur NPP general designer.

The next stage includes packing and final acceptance inspection of the equipment, following which the cargo will be delivered to the St. Petersburg port.
