Dhaka: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Sikder Group of Bangladesh and the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi of Dubai to embark on new businesses.

Ron Haque Sikder, Managing Director, Sikder Group and Thomasz Zaleski, Chairman of the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, signed the deal on behalf of the respective parties at the Bangladesh Economic Forum 2022 held at the Ballroom of MovenPick Grand Al Bustan Dubai hotel in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on March 10.

Salman F Rahman MP, Advisor to the Prime Minister for Private Industries and Investment, was present at the signing ceremony, among others.

Under the MoU, the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Al Qassimi will import shrimps and other commodities from Bangladesh for the UAE and European countries.

The two business entities have also decided to jointly work together for mega projects within the UAE.
