Dhaka: Names of the 17 winners of the online quiz competition organized jointly by The Bangladesh Monitor and Emirates Airline has been announced. The competition was hosted in celebration of Emirates’ 35 years of operations to Bangladesh in 2021.

Winners were selected through an electronic raffle draw at The Bangladesh Monitor office in Dhaka in presence of the top officials of Emirates Dhaka office and The Bangladesh Monitor. A total of 1,279 participants correctly answered to all the multiple choice questions.

Adnan Rahman, a journalist and Samiya Tasmeen, a development worker; both from Dhaka won the Economy Class return tickets to Dubai on Emirates. On the other hand, fifteen participants won Emirates branded merchandise. They are- Rimpy Chowdhury, Nishpi Sazeeda Bari, Mostafa kamal, Ali Ashgar, Md. Helaluzzaman Raqib, Mohammad Rostam Hossain, Mahamudul Hassan, Mohammad Mehedy Hasan, Mushfica Zerin, Rubaiat Rahim Rubel, Nabeela Nushaira Rahman, Showkat Osman, Umme Sadia Jaynob, Kashtan Habib and Shazia Afrin.

The prizes will be handed over to the winners at a simple ceremony, details of which will be shared in due course of time.
