Obituary : Capt Md Saifuzza-man, pilot of Biman Bangladesh Airlines' Boeing 787, left the world in a tragic accident (boat capsized while canoeing in Lake Sturgeon, Toronto, Canada) on Jun 8, 2025 (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeun).
His remains arrived in Dhaka by BG306 on June 13 around 9 pm and were received by Biman officials and his colleagues.
His First Namaj-e-Janaza was held on June 14, 2025 "at 1100 hours" at Shaheen Mosque, BAF Base Bashar (north of BAF Shaheen College). His Second Namaj-e-Janaza was held at Banani DOHS field "after Johr prayer". His burial was at BAF Shaheen Graveyard, Tejgaon, Dhaka at about 1430hrs.
