Drukair flying twice weekly from Dhaka to Paro, Bangkok respectively

Dhaka : Drukair (Royal Bhutan Airlines), the flag carrier of Bhutan, is currently operating direct flights from Dhaka to Bhutan's Paro and Thailand's Bangkok respectively, said the CEO of the airline Tandi Wangchuk at an agent seminar held in the capital on October 18.

The airline is currently operating two weekly direct flights on Dhaka-Paro-Dhaka and Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka respectively, added the CEO.

He further mentioned, the airline's flights to Paro departs Dhaka on Mondays and Thursdays while flights to Bangkok leaves Dhaka on Sundays and Wednesdays.

Apart from Bangladesh and Thailand, the airline also operates flights to numerous destinations regionally such as Singapore, Nepal and India.

The CEO informed Drukair flies to many destinations in India such as Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, and Bagdogra, among others.

As part of the airline's further plans, Drukair aims to introduce flights from Dhaka to many other destinations in the region.

Apart from them, the seminar was attended by reputed travel agents of the country and media representatives.
