Drukair, Thai Airways join forces to boost regional, global connectivity

Paro : Drukair - Royal Bhutan Airlines and Thai Airways International have entered into an Interline Agreement aimed at improving travel convenience and expanding route connectivity between Bhutan and destinations across Thai Airways' extensive global network.

The agreement was formally signed in Paro, Bhutan, by Tandi Wangchuk, CEO of Drukair, and Chai Eamsiri, CEO of Thai Airways. The event was also attended by Ujjwal Deep Dahal, CEO of Druk Holding and Investments, along with members of the Drukair Board of Directors.

Under this new partnership, passengers will enjoy smoother travel experiences through check-in for both passengers and baggage to their final destinations, seamless flight connections via Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport, and competitive interline fares on a single ticket.

The collaboration will provide convenient one-stop connections between Bhutan and key destinations in Northern Asia, Australia, and domestic points within Thailand, further promoting tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two countries.

Drukair and Thai Airways emphasized that the partnership represents a significant step toward enhancing regional air connectivity, offering travelers more flexibility, accessibility, and efficiency when flying between Bhutan and the rest of the world.
