Kuwait City : Kuwaiti low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways is launching a new subscription-based club aimed at its frequent flyers as part of a partnership with Caravelo.

Launched on December 13, Jazeera Savers is the first airline subscription for Middle East-based travellers and is set to cut travel costs further for regular Jazeera Airways passengers.

The service is paid for annually, allowing members to access deals on flights and other ancillary services. Benefits include a 10 per cent discount on tickets, 50 per cent off on certain baggage, and complimentary early check-in, among others.

Individual memberships start at KWD 35 (USD 113), with Jazeera Airways offering different group tiers for family members between two and eight. The Family Plus tier covers eight members and costs KWD 129 (USD 418), though additional members can be added to the account for KWD 30 (USD 97) per person.

Caravelo has previously worked on similar subscription-based models with other airlines, including Mexican budget carrier Vorlaris, which launched an annual travel pass in June. Jazeera Airways subscription differs slightly, focusing more on reducing ancillary costs associated with travel and rewarding loyal customers.

In a statement shared by Caravelo on December 13, CEO Iñaki Uriz noted the growing interest in subscription-based travel across the aviation industry.
