Chattogram : Oman Air is going to operate flights to the port city Chattogram as the airline announced a major network expansion in its summer schedule. The airline announced to operate four-weekly flights on Muscat-Chattogram route starting from March 2023.
The Muscat-based carrier added four new destinations in its summer schedule - Chattogram in Bangladesh, Maldives as well as Indian cities Lucknow and Thiruvananthapuram.
"The expanded network and schedule for 2023 demonstrates Oman Air's ongoing efforts to contribute to the economy of the sultanate while also exhibiting its drive for increased global reach through its award-wining services and products, along with its signature Omani hospitality both in the air and on the ground," said the airline.
The schedule specifies significant frequency increases on existing routes, and the addition of four destinations- thus representing a 60pc increase in the number of flights from its hub in Muscat compared to the previous year, it stated.
