Dhaka : During the Annual Staff Meeting Online of SalamAir in Muscat, Shahabuddin, Country Manager of SalamAir in Bangladesh was awarded as "Star Employee" for his performance in 2020. His initiatives led to exceeding the yield optimisation target for the airline from Bangladesh. Thus, the country was also recognised as the "Best Station" in SalamAir network.
SalamAir CEO Captain Mohamed Ahmed highlighted the proactive initiatives taken by Shahabuddin during this critical period of Covid-19 to maximise yield and revenue for the airline.
His performance helped SalamAir to get closer to achieving profitability of the airline during the most challenging time for the airline and the entire aviation industry, said the CEO.
SalamAir, a budget carrier of Oman started flight operations to/from Dhaka since August 2018 and to/from Chottogram since October 2019 with brand new A320neo.
Currently, the airline is flying to 27 destinations globally with a modern fleet of A320neos.
Destinations in SalamAir's network includes Muscat, Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, Dubai, Doha, Salalah, Kuwait, Bahrain, Alexandria, Tehran, Siraz, and others.
