Saudia recognizes it's Top productive Agents in Bangladesh

Dhaka : Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, hosted its Agents Excellence Award Ceremony in Dhaka to honor its top productive  travel agents in Bangladesh for their outstanding contributions during the year 2024. The ceremony celebrated the vital role of travel partners in Saudia's growth and highlighted their contribution to expanding the airline's market presence in Bangladesh.

Awards were presented by Musaed M. Almusaed, Assistant Vice President, International Regions, Tarik Alowaidi, Manager for Bangladesh, Nepal and Myanmar, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Ahmed Yusuf Walid, Managing Director of United Link Ltd, General Sales Agent (GSA) of Saudia in Bangladesh.

Speaking on the occasion Musaed expressed deep appreciation for the support of Bangladeshi travel agents, saying "our growth and success in Bangladesh would not have been possible without the commitment and partnership of our top agents. Their efforts have helped Saudia achieve remarkable expansion while continuing to deliver exceptional service to our guests," he said.

Tarik Alowaidi said that this journey of success is built on the dedication of our valued agents, business partners and loyal passengers. We are proud to recognize their contribution as Saudia continues to strengthen its footprint in the Bangladeshi market. Ahmed Yusuf Walid offered a vote of thanks, noting Saudia's growing appeal as a preferred carrier for long-haul travel to Europe and North America, in addition to its streamlined stopover visa program which facilitates Umrah travel through www.saudia.com.

The awardees agents were Al-Gazi Travels Ltd, Al-Mareya Travels, Be Fresh Limited, Golden Bengal Tours & Travels, Hajee Air Travels Ltd, Suma International Services, Sundarban Air Travels & Tours, Sunshine Express Travel Inc, Triplovers Limited, Dynamic Travels, East West Travels & Tours (Pvt) Ltd., Hajee Air Travels Ltd, Shah Amanat Hajj Kafela Travels & Tours, Suma International Services, Talon Corporation Ltd, Travelchamp Limited, Valencia Air Travels & Tours Ltd. Saudia recognized their top supporting agents based on total revenue contribution and also contribution for their support to premium cabins in business and first class.

Opens new City Ticketing Office in Gulshan

Earlier Saudia has officially inaugurated its new state-of-the-art City Ticketing Office in Dhaka on September 27, marking a key milestone in the airline's continued expansion and long-standing operations in Bangladesh.

The new office, located on the 16th floor of Simpletree Attalika, 134 Gulshan Ave-nue, was inaugurated by Abdullah Zafer H Bin Abiyah, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bangladesh, said a press release.

He was joined by Musaed Almusaed, Assistant Vice President of International Regions at Saudia Airlines and Md Nazrul Islam, Secretary (East and West) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Built to international standards, the Gulshan office is Saudia's most advanced facility in Bangladesh. It offers dedicated counters for general passengers, premium cabin customers, and AlFursan members (the airline's frequent flyer program).

In addition to the new Gulshan facility, Saudia will continue operating its existing City Ticketing Offices at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka and at Agrabad in the port city Chattogram.
