Dhaka : The largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines added another Boeing 737-800 aircraft to its fleet. Including this new Boeing 737-800, US-Bangla Airlines currently has 18 aircraft in its fleet in total, making it the biggest fleet among the private airlines of the country.
The newly added Boeing 737-800 landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on February 4 at 4:20 pm. Captain Lutfor Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of US-Bangla Airlines officially received the aircraft. Other senior officials of US-Bangla Airlines were also present on the occasion.
The aircraft came directly from Kuwait. This Boeing 737-800 aircraft has 189 seats.
With this aircraft, US-Bangla is going to increase frequencies from Dhaka to the current destinations in its existing network, said the airline in a press release.
Currently, the airline is operating flights on all domestic routes and to Kolkata, Chennai, Male, Muscat, Doha, Dubai, Sharjah, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Guangzhou.
