US-Bangla launching flights to Delhi from last week of July

Dhaka : US-Bangla Airlines is going to start direct flights from Dhaka to Delhi, the 12th international destination in the airline's network, from the last week of July, 2023.

On the Dhaka-Delhi route, the airline will initially operate four weekly flights every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Delhi will be US-Bangla's third destination in India, after Kolkata and Chennai. 

With the new move, US-Bangla will be meeting the needs of Bangladeshi travellers who want to visit Delhi for leisure, medical needs, and academic purposes, said the airline in a press release.

The airline will be operating flights on Dhaka-Delhi route with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Currently, US-Bangla has a total of 19 aircraft in its fleet, including eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

The airline will also be adding two Airbus 330s in its fleet for the first time by August 2023. With the aircraft, the airline is planning to operate flights from Dhaka to Jeddah in 2023.

Besides Chennai and Kolkata, US-Bangla Airlines is currently operating flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Male, Bangkok and Guan-gzhou.

It may be mentioned here, at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2023 held recently, US-Bangla Airlines bagged the 5th place among the Best Airlines in South Asia.

US-Bangla Airlines is also operating domestic flights from Dhaka to Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur, Jashore, Rajshahi and Barishal.
