US-Bangla operating six weekly Dhaka-Male flights

Dhaka : Catering to the growing demand of travellers, US-Bangla Airlines is operating six weekly flights from Dhaka to Male, the capital of the Maldives, from October 31.
The largest private airline of the country operates the flights every day of the week except for Thursday to facilitate Maldivian expats and tourists to make travel plans amid increased passenger demand during the winter, the airlines said in a release.
From November 19, 2021, US-Bangla Airlines became the first airline to operate three flights a week on Dhaka-Male route with Boeing 737-800 aimed at serving expatriate Bangla-deshis.
Earlier, the airline was operating weekly four flights to this popular tourist destination.
Currently, the flight of US-Bangla Airlines to Male  departs Dhaka at 9:00 am on every Monday, Tuesday and Saturday and on every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the flight departs Dhaka at 8:45 am.
From Male, the flight departs Velena International Airport for Dhaka at 1:20 pm local time on every Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.
On every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, the flight departs Male at 1:05 pm local time.
The minimum fare on Dhaka-Male route, including all taxes and surcharges, has been set at BDT 29,508 one-way and BDT 45,545 for return.
