Dhaka : The largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines will be launching Dhaka-Delhi route next winter and ramp up operations to Gulf countries with new aircraft, said its CEO Lutfor Rahman according to reports.
The airline is planning to add ultramodern widebody aircraft in its fleet soon to operate flights to new destinations of Europe, America, Middle East and Far East.
Currently, the airline operates 80 flights daily in each of the eight airports of the country and 24 flights daily in 11 international destinations.
It has 16 aircraft in its fleet including six Boeing 737-800s, seven ATRs and three Dash-8 Q400s with an average age of 10 years.
As well as operating domestic routes across Bangladesh, US-Bangla also flies to key global destinations across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East including Singapore, Chennai, Guangzhou, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai and Doha, with plans to add additional long-haul routes in future.
