Vistara adds third frequency on Delhi-Dhaka route

Dhaka: The full-service Indian airline Vistara added another frequency on the Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi route from February 9 taking the total number of weekly flights to three. 
Earlier, Vistara commenced its flight operations from Delhi to Dhaka on November 5, 2020 amid the pandemic under the air bubble agreement between Bangladesh and India. 
Vistara is also planning to operate regular flights to Dhaka and connect the city to other destinations in the airline's domestic and international network soon, once the Covid-19 situation gets normalised, said the carrier in a statement. 
With the new frequency launched on February 9, Vistara is now operating three weekly flights on Delhi-Dhaka-Delhi route on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The flights will depart Dhaka at 10:30 am and arrive in Delhi at 12:15 pm. All times are local. 
The airline also announced on February 13 that they will start flights between Mumbai and Male from March 3.
The announcement follows the signing of an air bubble agreement between the two countries_ India and Maldives.
Vistara is a joint venture of Tata Sons and SIA, based          in Gurgaon, with hub at  Indira Gandhi International Airport.
