Dhaka : Mutual Trust Bank PLC signed Tripartite agreement with WeGro and Syngenta to scale up lending to marginal farmers across the country.
Farmers will be allowed credit line through App to procure inputs from designated outlets of Syngenta for their firming. This arrangement among MTB, WeGro and Syngenta will ensure better quality of production as well as smooth funding support to scaling up Agri production.
Md Khalid Mahmood Khan, AMD and Chief Business Officer of MTB, Md Mahmudur Rahman, Co-Founder and CEO of WeGro and Mohammad Hedayet Ullah, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations in presence of Syed Mahbubur Rahman, MD and CEO of MTB PLC.
Among others, Khalid Hossin, Head of Digital Banking Division, Sanjib Kumar Dey, Head of SME and Agri Banking Division and other officials of MTB, WeGro and Syngenta were also present at the event.
Jaleswor branch celebrates anniversary
To mark the 25th founding anniversary of Mutual Trust Bank Ltd (MTB), its Jaleswar branch in Savar organised a dua and milad mahfil at its premises on October 24, to pray for the bank's improvement, growth and contribution to the economy.
A cake-cutting ceremony was also held as part of the celebration.
Md Raju Ahmed, Branch Manager and Sabina Yesmin, an official of the Palli Bidyut Samity, among others, cut the cake to commemorate the bank's 25th founding anniversary.
The festivities included a gathering of distinguished guests, bank officials and loyal customers, all reflecting on MTB's significant achievements and milestones.
