BIHA recognizes Shakawath as "Most Awarded Hotelier of Bangladesh 2024"

Dhaka : Md Shakawath Hossain, a hotelier in Bangladesh's hospitality industry, has been recognized as the "Most Awarded Hotelier of Bangladesh 2024" by Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA).

The award was handed over to him by Hakim Ali, President of Bangladesh International Hotel Association (BIHA).

The recognition solidifies Shakawath's position as a trailblazer and visionary in the sector, further enhancing the reputation of Bangladesh's hospitality industry on the global stage, said a release.

The move comes as a result of Md Shakawath Hossain's achievement as the only hotelier in Bangladesh to receive two national and two international awards in 2024, including Tourism Face of South Asia at South Asian Travel Award (SATA) 2024, Hotelier of the Year 2024 at Bangladesh Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Awards (BTTHA) 2024 by The Bangladesh Monitor, Hospitality Professional of Bangladesh (2024) at TITA by Tourism Association of Bangladesh, and Best Hotelier of Bangladesh by Hotel Industry Architecture, Interiors and Management Conference 2024.

With over two decades of service in the hospitality industry, Md Shakawath Hossain has consistently demonstrated expertise, innovation, leadership, and inclusivity. These accolades highlight his contributions, including his efforts in elevating service standards, fostering sustainable practices, and promoting Bangladesh as a top-tier destination for global travelers, added the release.
