Radisson Blu Dhaka celebrates "World Tourism Day 2022"

Dhaka : With the aim to promote tourism and hospitality, Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden celebrated "World Tourism Day 2022" in a magnificent fashion. The hotel engaged in a wide range of activities to rejoice this wonderful occasion. 
The theme for this year for World Tourism Day is "Rethinking Tourism". 
This year, Radisson Blu Dhaka brought the delicacies from seven different scrumptious cuisines around the world including Traditional Bangladeshi, European, Arabic, Thai, Indian, Chinese and Japanese at its special arrangement of dinner buffet. Food lovers got a taste of a selection of mouth-watering items featuring Italian Ossubuco, Beijing Duck, Chicken Biriyani, Beef Tenderloin, Butter Chicken, Sushi, Lebanese Chicken, Irish Pie, assortment of French pastries and many more delicious items. 
All this buffet dinner arrangement is priced at BDT 3990++ at the signature restaurant Water Garden Brasserie. Patrons were also happy to avail the privilege of "Buy One Get One Free", offer available for selected bank cards.
To make the occasion more exciting, Radisson Blu Dhaka organised a photography contest with exciting prizes for the winners. Additionally, a programme called "Community Cleanup" took place at the Dhaka Cantonment Railway Station.
Besides, a seminar called "Sustainable Tourism" was held with the trainee students from National Hotel and Tourism Training Institute (NHTTI), UCEP Bangladesh, Bogura Polytechnic Institute, ACE Hospitality Management, Regency Hospitality Training Institute and other universities and institutions. 
A selection of four extravagant staycation packages named "Autumn Getaway" are on offer from October 1-31, 2022, with prices starting from BDT 9,000 per couple/night.
Hosts 46th Indo-Pacific Management Seminar
Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden hosted the 46th annual Indo-Pacific Army Management Seminar (IPAMS) at its premises from September 12-15.
The 46th Indo-Pacific Armies Management Seminar (IPAMS) 2022 was co-hosted by Bangladesh Army and US Army Pacific (USARPAC). 
Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the seminar virtually on September 12 as the Chief Guest.
The opening ceremony was held at Grand Ball Room which was followed by a joint press conference held at octagon shaped lobby with General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, Bangladesh Army Chief of Staff, and General Charles Flynn, Commanding General of the US Army Pacific.  
The main programme was held at Grand Ball Room with all the senior army leaders and delegates from 24 countries from around the Indo-Pacific who participated in this seminar. The theme of the conference was 'Prospects and Challenges in Maintaining Peace and Security in the Indo-Pacific' region.
