China dominates the ranking with four airports in the top ten, while Southeast Asia places three (Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok). Delhi stands out as the fastest riser, fueled by India’s booming domestic demand and airline expansion.

Compared with 2019, Chinese and Indian hubs have gained ground, while airports such as Beijing Capital and Bangkok have adjusted to infrastructure changes and shifting regional competition. Meanwhile, established connectors like Incheon and Changi continue to hold steady.

Globally, Haneda ranks third for total capacity, with Shanghai Pudong and Guangzhou Baiyun also placing inside the world’s top ten — highlighting Asia Pacific’s growing weight in global aviation.
