Dhaka: The government of Thailand has mandated all non-Thai nationals traveling to the country by air, land, or sea to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within 72 hours (three days) before arrival, effective from May 1, 2025.

The online-based platform, TDAC system, will replace the legacy TM.6 arrival form travelers fill out during immigration. Thus, the Thai authorities expect the new procedure will significantly reduce immigration time, streamline the process, and benefit the travelers.

Apart from ensuring a faster, easier, and more secure immigration process, the TDAC system integrates other key government systems, including the E-Visa system of the Department of Consular Affairs, the health screening procedures of the Department of Disease Control, and the tourist fee collection mechanism of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

Thailand aims to pioneer as a "smart tourism destination," and adopting and mandating the TDAC system will further advance the country to achieve its goals.

The TDAC application can be completed at https://tdac.immigration.go.th/.
