US-Bangla wet-leases two 737s from BBN Airlines Indonesia

Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines has signed a wet-lease agreement with BBN Airlines Indonesia for two Boeing 737-800s. In accordance with this agreement, the lessor will facilitate US-Bangla with crew, maintenance, and insurance coverage in addition to aircraft.

The first aircraft, registered PK-BBH, already joined US-Bangla's fleet on March 31 and was deployed on scheduled services on the following day. The second aircraft, registered PK-BBF, is currently leased to Indonesian Sriwijaya Air and will be delivered in early May.

Both aircraft are fitted with 189 seats in a single-class, all-economy configuration, and US-Bangla Airlines will deploy them on flights to the Middle East, Thailand, Maldives, and Singapore, with crew fully based in Dhaka.
