Dhaka: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Religious Affairs of Bangladesh, Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad, reaffirming the two nations’ longstanding and fraternal ties.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized their shared commitment to elevating bilateral relations to broader and more substantive levels. Discussions were held in a cordial atmosphere, focusing on strengthening cooperation in religious affairs and expanding collaboration between the two countries.
Particular importance was placed on enhancing people-to-people connectivity and promoting cultural exchange. The two dignitaries also underlined the need to foster deeper mutual understanding anchored in shared values and cultural heritage.
They exchanged views on leveraging digital technologies to modernize religious services and improve institutional capacity. Expanding faith-based education and support mechanisms in a more efficient and contemporary manner was also discussed.
The meeting concluded with both sides expressing their resolve to further deepen cooperation and advance the strategic partnership between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates in the years ahead.
