Dhaka: The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh and Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh recently attended a seminar at Dhaka Airport on January 26 where both parties discussed various issues and tasks of the country's aviation sector.

M Mofidur Rahman, Chairman of CAAB attended the seminar as the Chief Guest while Anjan Chowdhury, President of AOAB presided over the event. Other senior officials from both organisations were also present on the occasion.

Mofizur Rahman, Secretary General of AOAB presented the keynote at the seminar which discussed the existing problems in Bangladesh’s aviation sector such as infrastructure, government charges, taxation and customs, jet fuel prices, operational constraints, licensing and others.

CAAB chairman assured to solve these problems with priority in a feasible time frame.
