EBL holds BAMLCO and DAMLCO Conference 2023

Dhaka, March 18 2023 - To enhance knowledge and skill of their employees in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Eastern Bank Ltd. (EBL) organized the BAMLCO and DAMLCO Conference 2023, today.

Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL inaugurated the day-long conference today. M.M. Haikal Hashmi, Deputy Managing Director and CAMLCO; M. Khorshed Anowar, Deputy Managing Director and Head of Retail and SME Banking of the bank were also present.

EBL resource persons Md. Abdul Awal, EVP and Head of Monitoring; Md. Syedul Islam, SVP and Head of Audit; Md. Shahjahan Ali, SVP and Deputy CAMLCO; and Naima Kishwar Chowdhury, Head of CDD Review Team shed light on contemporary AML and CFT issues in the conference.
