Emirates Cabin Crew Village in Dubai to accommodate 12,000 residents

Dubai: Emirates has signed a landmark agreement with Dubai Investments Park (DIP) to acquire land for a new purpose-built Cabin Crew Village, marking a multi-billion-dirham investment in the airline’s people and future growth.

Designed as a vibrant mixed-use and residential community, the development will accommodate up to 12,000 cabin crew members, setting a new benchmark for crew living standards in the aviation industry.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with the first phase targeted for completion in 2029. The project will comprise 20 contemporary residential buildings, each rising 19 floors, offering a thoughtfully designed mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments tailored to the comfort and lifestyle needs of Emirates’ crew members.

Envisioned as a complete lifestyle destination, the Emirates Cabin Crew Village will feature a multi-purpose hub with retail outlets, restaurants and diverse dining concepts, complemented by state-of-the-art fitness facilities, healthcare clinics, and expansive public spaces and parks.

The community will promote an active and balanced lifestyle, with walking trails, resort-style swimming pools, landscaped gardens and green spaces integrated throughout the development. Each residential building will also include dedicated facilities to ensure convenience, accessibility and enhanced quality of life for residents.

Strategically located between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC), the Emirates Cabin Crew Village will support the airline’s long-term operational strategy and its future transition to Al Maktoum International Airport. The development underscores Emirates’ commitment to investing in its people while delivering an exceptional living environment for its global cabin crew community.
