Dhaka: Emirates has suspended all scheduled flights to and from Dubai until 23:59 local time on March 7 due to ongoing airspace closures across the region.
In a travel update issued on Wednesday, March 4, the airline said it continues to operate a limited flight schedule while prioritizing passengers with earlier bookings on available services.
The carrier confirmed that transit passengers in Dubai will only be accepted for travel if their onward connecting flight is operating. Customers have been advised not to proceed to the airport unless directly notified by Emirates or holding a confirmed booking on an active flight.
Emirates said it is closely monitoring developments and will adjust its operational schedule accordingly. The airline will publish the latest flight updates on its official website.
Passengers have been urged to check their flight status online and review operational updates before traveling. The airline also advised customers to monitor their email for notifications regarding schedule changes or cancellations.
Under its customer advisory, Emirates is offering affected travelers the option to rebook on alternate flights for travel on or before March 27. Customers who booked through travel agencies must contact their agents for rebooking.
Passengers who booked directly with Emirates may request a refund for tickets issued for travel on or before March 12 by completing the airline’s refund form.
The airline emphasized that impacted customers must coordinate with their respective booking channels for changes. It also requested passengers to ensure their contact details are updated through the “Manage Your Booking” section to receive timely notifications.
Additionally, all city check-in facilities across Dubai have been temporarily closed until further notice.
Emirates reiterated that the safety and security of its passengers and crew remain its highest priority and thanked customers for their patience and understanding amid the disruption.
