Dhaka: Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has announced the appointment of Kazi Nadimul Haque as Financial Controller for Bangladesh, reinforcing its financial leadership in South Asia.
Mr. Haque brings over 12 years of distinguished experience in the aviation sector, having served in key financial roles across leading international and domestic airlines.
His expertise spans airline financial operations, regulatory compliance, cross-border financial transactions, and IATA-BSP/CASS frameworks.
He has a proven track record in managing outward remittance processes in strict adherence to local tax laws and foreign exchange regulations.
Before joining Gulf Air, Mr. Haque served as Finance Officer at Emirates, where he aligned financial operations with global standards and local compliance requirements.
His notable contributions were recognized with two Najm Appreciation Awards for achievements in Forex Management and Liquidity Optimization, as well as Cost Savings and Financial Accuracy.
Throughout his career, Mr. Haque has demonstrated excellence in financial governance, audit facilitation, and stakeholder collaboration, ensuring robust financial integrity in high-performance environments.
