Dhaka: Kuehne+Nagel has launched a new air logistics gateway in Bengaluru to support India’s growing high-tech, semiconductor, healthcare, new mobility, and automotive sectors.
The gateway offers cargo consolidation, streamlined customs, and temperature-controlled handling. Bengaluru was chosen for its strategic links to key hubs like Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Chicago, and its rising importance in cross-border logistics.
Yngve Ruud, Kuehne+Nagel’s EVP of Air Logistics, said the new facility enhances connectivity, efficiency, and resilience, complementing recent openings in Milan, Madrid, and Toronto.
The move reflects K+N’s commitment to expanding in India, a fast-growing market, while improving load efficiency, cutting costs, and increasing routing flexibility.
Kuehne+Nagel has reported volume growth in air logistics driven by perishables, semiconductors, and cloud infrastructure, and recently launched services focused on cloud computing transport.
