Dhaka: Lufthansa has launched its new premium onboard experience, Lufthansa Allegris, on its long-haul route from Munich, Germany, to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
The inaugural flight arrived on Monday, (October 27) while the first return service, LH715, departed Tokyo the same day at 10:45 a.m. local time.
The Airbus A350-900 aircraft features the fully equipped Allegris cabin across all classes, including the new First Class offering.
“We are delighted to bring our premium product Lufthansa Allegris to Japan. Personalisation and privacy—qualities highly valued by Japanese travellers—are central to our offering,” said Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer at Lufthansa.
“Never before in our 99-year history have we invested so heavily in premium products. This is key to an excellent customer experience.”
The Allegris First Class cabin includes two individual suites and a Suite Plus option, featuring nearly one-meter-wide seats with adjustable heating and cooling, lockable doors, large tables, personal wardrobes, and individual lighting.
The Suite Plus allows travellers to enjoy both privacy and the option to travel alongside a partner.
Lufthansa currently operates 22 weekly flights between Europe and Japan.
The introduction of the Allegris product is aimed at enhancing the experience for Japanese guests connecting to Lufthansa’s five-star hub in Munich and beyond.
