New Civil Aviation Minister, State Minister join office

Dhaka: The newly appointed Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Afroz Khanam Rita and State Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat joined the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on February 18.

According to a social media post by the ministry, the minister and state minister were received at the ministry by Secretary Nasreen Jahan and other senior officials.

Following their arrival, the minister and state minister took part in an introductory meeting with officials of the ministry, marking the beginning of their formal duties.

Officials said, the meeting focused on familiarization and exchanging views on the ministry’s ongoing activities and future priorities.
