Dhaka: Saudi Arabian Airlines in Dhaka and its newly appointed General Sales Agent in Bangladesh United Link Ltd hosted an iftar mahfil at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the capital on April 19.

On the occasion, high officials of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Chargé d’affaires and other senior officials of the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Dhaka, owners and officials of travel, Hajj and Umrah agencies, representatives of various travel related organisations and media representatives, among others, were present.

In his welcome address, Tarik Alowaidi, Country Manager of Saudi Arabian Airlines in Bangladesh wished guests a blessed month of Ramadan and thanked all concerned for the successful management of Saudi Airlines in Bangladesh.

Ahmed Yusuf Walid, Managing Director of the airline’s newly appointed GSA United Link Limited also spoke on the occasion.

He expressed his satisfaction at being appointed the GSA of a world-renowned airline like Saudi Airlines and announced that he would continue his efforts to further expand the quality and scope of the airline’s services in Bangladesh.
