Dhaka: Saudia, together with its General Sales Agent in Bangladesh United Link Ltd, arranged a Ramadan Iftar Mehfil at an elite hotel in the capital on March 2.
The gathering welcomed aviation stakeholders, travel agents, corporate partners, and government officials, highlighting unity and appreciation during the holy month.
Speaking on the occasion, Salman A Alali, Country Manager of Saudia Bangladesh, greeted guests with Ramadan wishes and thanked industry partners and clients for their ongoing trust and cooperation.
He noted that such occasions help reinforce professional bonds and encourage closer collaboration within the aviation community.

Ahmed Yusuf Walid, Managing Director of United Link Ltd, also spoke at the event, describing the annual Iftar as an important tradition that strengthens relationships across the aviation and tourism network.
In his address, he acknowledged the support of various government bodies, including the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Royal Saudi Embassy.
Walid highlighted Saudia’s presence in Bangladesh since the 1980s, praising the airline’s continued commitment to Bangladeshi passengers, particularly during times of crisis and pilgrimage travel.
