Six-day long Int’l Women’s Day festival underway at Shimanto Shambhar

Dhaka: The International Women’s Day Festival 2021, organized by Showbiz Entertainment, began on March 8 and will go on till March 13 at Shimanto Shambhar Shopping Complex in the capital. The event is featuring 32 stalls comprising food, Pithas, jewelries, clothes, and everything else.

The food stalls are serving popular and delicious street food items to the visitors. Moreover, there are several stalls showcasing women's apparel, home décor items, kitchen appliances, and cosmetics. Also, for kids, there are toys and rides to enjoy at the fair as well.

Visitors can also indulge in Pithas and other food items of the spring at the food stalls.

It may be mentioned here, for traditional craft lovers, there are stalls featuring handicraft products made by grassroots women entrepreneurs helping the hardworking and talented grassroots women entrepreneurs to be more empowered and self-reliant.

To make it even more fun, the festival is also organizing various sports and entertainment activities that women and families can enjoy such as brimming competitions, karaoke, celebrity meet, red carpet, selfie-zone, talk shows, and other cultural events.

There will also be an award-giving ceremony which will honor women leading in different lines of works, from corporate to celebrities.

The six-day-long fair starts every day at 10:00 am and ends at 10:00 pm.
