US-Bangla increasing frequency on Dhaka-Guangzhou route from September 1

Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines is going to operate five weekly flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou route from September 1, 2023.

Currently, the airline is operating three weekly flights on the route, said US-Bangla in a release.

Effective September 1, 2023, US-Bangla’s flight will depart Dhaka Airport at 10:10 pm and arrive in Guangzhou at 3:50 am local time on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The return flight from Guangzhou will depart at 5:00 am and arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 7:00 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The minimum one-way fare on Dhaka-Guangzhou route is BDT 30,669 and the return fare BDT 50,540.

US-Bangla is operating flights to and from Guangzhou with Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

It may be mentioned here that US-Bangla was the first Bangladeshi airline to operate in a Chinese province after independence. Since April 26, 2018, it has been operating regular flights to and from Guangzhou. US-Bangla Airlines continued to operate flights on Dhaka-Guangzhou route even during the coronavirus pandemic.

Apart from Guangzhou, US-Bangla Airlines is also operating flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Male, and Bangkok.

Besides, US-Bangla Airlines is operating flights on all domestic routes across the country.

Currently, the airline has a total of 20 aircraft in its fleet including eight Boeing 737-800s, and nine brand new ATR 72-600s.

The airline further plans to add a total of six wide-body and 20 narrow-body aircraft, including two Airbus 330s, soon.

Also, US-Bangla is planning to launch flights from Dhaka to Delhi and Jeddah shortly.
