Dhaka: The Westin Dhaka, in partnership with Dhaka Bank PLC, has unwrapped a luxurious array of Arabic and Mediterranean cuisines for the holy month of Ramadan. The five-star hotel hosted a press gathering, followed by a food tasting session on Wednesday, February 18, to unveil this exclusive culinary arrangement.
Throughout Ramadan, the exquisite Arabic and Mediterranean-themed feast will be served as Iftar-cum-Dinner and Suhoor buffets at the hotel's Seasonal Tastes restaurant. Lobster Kebab, Grilled Salmon, Premium Lamb Shank, Arabic Khabsa, Dhakaiya Handi Gost, and Slow Cooked Oxtail Stew, with delectable desserts such as Turkish Tulumba, Pistachio Baklava, and Live Knafeh, will be among the highlighted items.
For this special celebration, The Westin Dhaka has brought together a delegate of experienced chefs from Turkey, Japan, and the Middle East, alongside local chefs from Bangladesh. Chefs Rimoun Obaid, Swapan Rozario, Hiromi Yonekwa, and Sait Dursan, who are renowned internationally for their culinary mastery, will oversee the entire dining experience, leading their respective divisions.
The Iftar-cum-Dinner Buffet at Seasonal Tastes has been priced at BDT 11,990 only, while the Suhoor Buffet, served only on every Thursday, Friday, and night before government holidays, will cost BDT 6,990 only.
B1G1 will be available with selected cards from over 21 banks, B1G2 for Islami Bank, Mercantile Bank, NCC Bank, and Jamuna Bank, and B1G3 for Bank Asia, Dutch Bangla Bank, NCC Bank, NRB Bank, Trust Bank, BRAC Bank (Friday only), and Mercantile Bank (from 16 Ramadan). Lucky diners, selected through a raffle draw, will win return air tickets from private airline Novoair.
Apart from the lavish buffets, The Westin Dhaka has curated premium Iftar takeaway boxes in three categories: Platinum at BDT 11,990, Gold at BDT 8,990, and Silver at BDT 7,990. In addition, Shahi Haleem and Jalebi packages will be available for pickup.
For corporates and families planning to host grand Iftar, dinner, and Suhoor events, a range of versatile banquet venues, catered for both intimate gatherings and large-scale celebrations, will remain open for booking throughout the holy month.
