Domestic flights across country resumes from August 6

Dhaka : The government of Bangladesh allowed the local airlines to resume domestic flight across the country from August 6 maintaining all health guidelines after months-long suspension over coronavirus concerns.
The largest private carrier of the country US-Bangla Airlines is operating 30 flights on seven domestic routes from Dhaka. In compliance to all health guidelines amid the pandemic, US-Bangla is flying from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, Rajshahi and Barishal. 
From Dhaka to Chattogram the airline is operating five flights, six to Jashore, seven to Saidpur, four to Sylhet, two to Cox's Bazar, three each to Rajshahi and Barishal. 
On domestic routes, US-Bangla will operate 72-seater brand new ATR 72-600. 
At present, US-Bangla has a total of 14 aircraft in its fleet including four Boeing 737-800s, seven brand new ATR 72-600s.   
The rest two local airlines Biman Bangladesh Airlines and NOVOAIR have also resumed flights across the country on August 6.  
NOVOAIR is operating six daily flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Saidpur, and Jashore while two flights to Barishal, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Cox's Bazar, the airline said in a statement.
On August 6, the flag carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines operated two flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, and Saidpur, one each to Sylhet, Cox's Bazar, Rajshahi, Barishal and Jashore.
From August 7, the national carrier has been operating three regular flights to Chattogram, and Saidpur and two flights to Sylhet, Cox's Bazar, Barishal, and Jashore and only one flight to Rajshahi.
